Terms of Use

Welcome to Whose Closet. These terms apply to whosecloset.com and Scout for Me (scoutforme.whosecloset.com). By using the site or creating an account, you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy.

Who can use Whose Closet

• You must be at least 13. If you are under 18, you need a parent’s or guardian’s permission.
• You must be 18 or older to join the Closet Scout commission program or to be paid for Scout for Me requests.
• Give accurate account details, keep your password safe, and use one account per person.

Your content

• You own the photos and words you post. You give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, resize, display and share them on Whose Closet and our social channels to show your closet and promote the community. This license ends when you delete the content, except copies already shared or kept for legal reasons.
• Only post photos you have the right to share: your own photos, or a store’s product photo used to show the piece you’re linking to.
• You are responsible for what you post. We may remove anything that breaks these terms.

Community rules

Whose Closet is a modest-fashion community. Every photo is checked, and we remove anything that doesn’t fit. Please:

• Keep every photo and piece modest (tznius).
• Be kind. No harassment, hate, bullying or sharing someone else’s private information.
• Post honestly: no fake reviews, impersonation, spam, or misleading or harmful links.
• Don’t post counterfeit goods or anything illegal.

Shop links and stores

Shop links take you to independent stores. Prices, availability, shipping and returns are set by the store, and your purchase is between you and the store. Many links are affiliate links; see our Affiliate Disclosure. We may convert any shop link posted on the site, including links from other programs, into our own commission links.

Closet Scout commissions

• Scouts who meet the program requirements may receive a share of the commissions we actually receive for confirmed purchases made through the links in their closet. The share, requirements and minimum payout are set by us and may change.
• Commissions that a store or network cancels (for example for returns) are not paid, and paid amounts may be adjusted.
• Don’t buy through your own links to earn, click your own links, pay or reward people to click, post links where they aren’t allowed, or use bots. We may withhold commissions and close accounts for any of these.
• You are responsible for your own taxes. We may ask for tax information before paying you.
• When you share your links outside Whose Closet, say that you may earn from them.

Scout for Me

Some Scout for Me requests are paid. Payments are processed by Stripe. If a Pro Scout doesn’t answer a paid request within 48 hours, the payment is refunded automatically.

Copyright

If you believe something on Whose Closet infringes your copyright, email support@whosecloset.com with: your contact details, the work you own, the link to the content, a statement that you believe in good faith the use isn’t authorized, a statement that your notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner, and your signature. We will remove infringing content and may close the accounts of repeat infringers.

Ending your account

You can stop using Whose Closet at any time, and email support@whosecloset.com to delete your account. We may pause or close accounts that break these terms or put the community at risk.

Disclaimers

Whose Closet is provided “as is”. We don’t sell the products shown and aren’t responsible for stores, their products or their service. To the fullest extent the law allows, Whose Closet is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the greater of $100 or what you paid us in the last 12 months.

Changes

We may update these terms. We’ll change the date at the top, and announce significant changes on the site. Using Whose Closet after a change means you accept the new terms.
